It aims to study the common crux of the "character writing crisis" and to find a good solution to this Fang, at the same time, used this as an opportunity to promote the culture of Chinese characters and publicize the power of Chinese characters, thereby enhancing China's cultural soft power.
I. Status of Chinese Character Writing Crisis
(1) The charm of Chinese characters and the crisis encountered
Chinese characters are a symbol of Chinese civilization and a tool for inheriting Chinese culture. For thousands of years, the Chinese have written square Chinese characters with pens, which has made Chinese characters from practical to aesthetic, evolved from tools into a culture, and then internalized into an idea, deeply rooted in the cultural personality of the Chinese. Chinese character calligraphy outlines the world with lines, so the art of calligraphy is not only the most abstract art created by human beings, but also the most developed and imaginative art of human civilization, which can fully reveal the nature of nature.
So Chinese characters are beautiful, and this beauty requires writing to practice. However, in the new media era today, the way of communication has changed from one-way printing and publishing to two-way or even multi-directional network communication, and the writing method has also evolved from the implementation of writing paper to the thumb sliding back and forth on the screen, among people of all ages. The writing of Chinese characters has been greatly reduced. People seem to be moving farther and farther from writing with pens. Once they raise pens, various errors often occur. The phenomenon of "Chinese character crisis" is becoming more and more serious in the current life. It is a common problem faced by the entire Chinese society and has become a worrying cultural phenomenon.
(2) Current Crisis Situation of Chinese Character Writing for College Students
For college students, we conducted a series of surveys on the crisis of Chinese characters, and comprehensively investigated the current situation of Chinese characters use by college students. We found a number of issues in the recalled questionnaire. The first is that the lifestyle of college students has shifted to the Internet. On the one hand, the living time of college students has been largely occupied by the Internet. The survey questionnaire that was returned indicates that most of the time, people use mobile phones and other tools to record their lives. 46%, almost Half; on the other hand, 74% of college students choose online tools in their main contact methods with friends. Followed by the attitude of typos, 30% of people said that they did not mind the appearance of typos. Finally, in the choice of learning methods, 54% of people choose print jobs. The survey shows that the phenomenon of "Chinese character crisis" exists to some extent in the college student group. But at the same time, we should also see that the writing of Chinese characters has not been completely replaced by the Internet. In the usual way of taking notes in class, 80% of people choose handwriting. In terms of learning methods, many college students still insist on handwritten Chinese characters. This is gratifying. of. The "Chinese character crisis" phenomenon exists to some extent among college students, but we fully believe that there are possibilities and ways to resolve it.
Causes of the Crisis of Chinese Character Writing
(1) Changes in lifestyle and thinking
With the advent of the new media era, people's lifestyles have also changed drastically, which is the main reason for the crisis of writing Chinese characters. Keyboard input appears to be a change in writing habits, and deeper is a change in writing thinking. Writing thinking guides the writing behavior, which makes us think of whether it is the word paper but the keyboard every time we want to write, and the method of checking words in our heads has changed from a single stroke of thinking to various keyboard inputs. Law thinking. The most commonly used Chinese character keyboard input method is Pinyin input method. After getting used to keyboard input thinking, people originally searched for glyphs in their brains, and then converted to searching for pinyin first, and then looking for glyphs. Bridges, while facilitating keyboard search, also cut off the direct correspondence between thinking and glyphs.
(2) Defects of Chinese Character Education
The shortcomings of Chinese character education and Chinese language education in China are also an important reason for the crisis of Chinese character writing. The emergence of the writing crisis reflects an important problem in China's education, that is, the defects of Chinese character education and Chinese language education. This kind of defect exists on the one hand in the breadth of education at all stages from basic education to higher education, and on the other hand in the depth of Chinese character education and Chinese language education at each stage of education. In the breadth of all-round education, students are educated in many disciplines. Because Chinese is a mother tongue, not enough attention is given to it, and various interests are demanded. As a result, most students devote more energy to English, mathematics, physics, In chemistry and other subjects, this attitude of Chinese language learning extends from elementary school to university, so that the phenomenon of low Chinese language literacy among college students is common. In the depth of each stage of education, most of the language education received by students stays at the level from endorsement to examinations. The ills of exam-oriented education have not been completely eradicated. Students' language practice only stays at the language examination and preparing for the language examination. Poor reading outside the classroom However, writing training is lacking, and the learning and understanding of Chinese characters are in place on the lifeline of literacy, but fail to have a deeper emotional understanding of our words. Chinese characters should be the emotional roots of the Chinese nation, but they have not been given sufficient attention, and they have not been passed on well in imperfect language education. This is the deep cause of the crisis in writing Chinese characters.
(3) Other reasons
There are many other reasons for the crisis of Chinese character writing. For example, the non-standard use of online languages. This non-standard online language erodes the purity of the language, and at the same time, makes the writing of Chinese characters encounter a crisis, and the impact on young people is particularly serious. There is also the erosion of foreign cultures. With the development of informatization, foreign cultures such as European and American cultures, Japanese and Korean cultures have become increasingly influential in our country through various means of communication. Excessive abuse of foreign languages poses a threat to the purity of Chinese characters; more Chinese is our mother tongue, although every day They are all used but not enough. We often use Chinese characters at random, lacking the awe of Chinese characters; etc.
3. The countermeasures for the crisis of Chinese character writing
(1) Improve the Chinese character education system
The first is to improve language education and Chinese character education. According to our survey, Chinese language education for college students has only a few elective courses such as college language among non-Chinese students. Chinese language education also focuses on text reading and appreciation, while there is almost no special education on Chinese characters. We want to call on the government, schools, and many other forces to make language learning and Chinese character learning a daily routine. The content of learning is not only about Chinese character recognition and text appreciation. It is necessary to dig deeper into the source and emotion of the text, so that the original cold Chinese character study is full of temperature; at the same time, the learning form must be rich and diverse, and it is important to increase the sense of participation in Chinese character learning Interaction and practicality, so as to enhance students' learning interest and integrate Chinese character learning and Chinese language learning into their daily lives.
The target of this study is college students, but the scope of our research and the application of the results cannot be limited to college students, but also extend to all-round people from elementary schools to universities to society. From the perspective of education, it is necessary to pay attention to the three-dimensional aspects and carry out targeted education for students at all stages. Aiming at the differences in the knowledge level and cognitive ability of students in elementary, middle and university, we must formulate unique education policies. Primary school students should learn to memorize Chinese characters. For middle school students, they should correct Chinese characters while correcting the bad network. The impact is to provide compulsory education for college students to comprehensively study Chinese. Under the premise of establishing a correct view of Chinese characters, the origin and changes of Chinese characters will be explained so that college students can understand the cultural connotation of Chinese characters. At the same time, campus activities with the theme of Chinese characters should be frequently held on campus, such as Chinese character writing contests, Chinese calligraphy competitions, etc., so that Chinese and Chinese characters become daily learning and become a cultural force integrated into the blood of students. Fortunately, we have seen that many departments are working hard to promote the popularization of Chinese character writing. The Ministry of Education has established 389 special schools for standardizing Chinese character writing education in primary and secondary schools, and has continuously organized nationwide themes on "writing classics and inheriting civilization." Contest for Chinese Character Writing for Sexual Students. The efforts of all parties to write Chinese characters are still ongoing. Total 2 pages: Previous
